My Why
After putting many methods to the test, I’ve had a consistent favorite for about 3 years now. It’s a mix of a few things, but I promise you it’s worth giving a try! My opinion is entirely unsponsored. No one paid me to like how I carry or even gave me free products to try. This is truly my unsponsored opinion! Which, unfortunately can be rare these days in the world of social media. I start with the sticky belly band. Why? Well, there are two main reasons. The number one is because it’s versatile! Unlike the average male wardrobe that is ideally set up for carrying in any position easily on a belt, we girls have sooo many more options! Options that don’t include a belt! Skirts, yoga pants, and even dresses! By utilizing a belly band, I never have to dress around my carry gun, which makes carrying daily easy and realistic for me!
The next step to my carry method is to attach a kydex holster to the belly band in your position of choice using Ulti clips. The brand I use and trust with my life the most is Tier One Concealed. The quality tier one yields is unmatched in the kydex industry. An added bonus is that you can order it with Ulti clips ready to go. I recommend the AGIS elite model because it has a quick snap system to add or remove the sidecar easily, yet it gives you, even more, carry versatility. Of course, if you already have a Kydex holster you trust, more than likely, you can add Ulti clips to it, but if you are starting out from scratch, I seriously recommend going with tier one. I don’t recommend using the sticky holster that Sticky recommends using with their belts. For me, safety just isn’t there. The lack of retention and trigger guard coverage is not up to par. Some other note-worthy holsters I’ve tried and liked have been QVO, Warthog, Safariland, Las Concealment, and G-code.
The second reason to carry with a belly band that most new to conceal carry might not think about is the ease of restroom use!! The fact whenever you pull your pants down, the gun stays securely on you instead of needing to be removed is very convenient for my small woman bladder, haha. But seriously, both dealing with having to transfer your weapon to somewhere safe while you deal with your business is hugely convenient! Especially for moms possibly taking kiddos to the restroom with them, It is just something to think about that aids in daily comfort and being realistic about carrying it with you daily.

What’s great about this method of the belly band and kydex holster combination is that it leaves much room for customization for your personal preferences. Making it an option for women of many sizes; even men could use this method! For me and many whom I have shared this method with, it has been a one-size-fits-all all option for the most comfortable, versatile, and, most importantly, reliable way to conceal carry.
